About help with education

I worked since I was 15 years old and always went above and beyond the call of duty in everything I put effort into. My health caught up with me and I was diagnosed with: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibromyalgia, Anemia, Carpel Tunnel, Vitamin Deficiency, Hypothyroidism, ADD and some other diagnoses that are not quite as bad. This all stemmed from a genetic marker called HLA-B27 and took me a long time to figure out where all the pain and other symptoms were coming from. There is no cure and I am treated via Chemotherapy to slow the progression till they come up with a cure, if there ever will be one and I am optimistic there will be.

I was discharged from my job, because I couldn't work and had no income. I ended up filing for disability and it took so long to get approved, but it's not enough to survive. If you want to know the sad amount - just ask. My goal of a college degree is what I want to focus on and I recently applied for financial aid. I want to be a Paralegal, but the amount of aid I would receive is only $5000 and basically I am $20,000 short. Sure, I can take out loans, but if I don't get a job right away and can maintain it, then I won't be able to pay the $220 monthly payments to cover my student loans. I've always given and helped others within my means and now I only want to see where this goes and hopefully get to find help and start school on August 24th. If I am unable to come up with the funding, then I will have to start later. I do believe that if I am blessed with the help I am seeking - I will pay it forward in as many ways as I can.

People may wonder why I don't ask my family. My father was murdered and my mother is disabled. I am not seeking pity, only being honest. I want to do great things and I am only 33. If there is a will, there is a way. I hope to see the way.

If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have nothing to hide and only want to better my life and others that may be in a situation of need.

Thank you for reading and god bless

Hello All,

I am a single mother that works everyday. I only take off work when my children need me.

In the news we hear about people needing help with their mortgage, making car payment, but what about the people that work everyday? I work everyday and do not meet most federal guidelines for assistance, but I worry every month if I am going to be able to pay my rent, and other household expenses.

Is there anything or  anywhere I can go for help? I get referred to all the local agancies, but my income is too high for the income limits, but I am one check away from being homeless. What is a person to do?

Hi, I just tore my achiles tendon and am facing about 8 weeks of being out of work, due to being self employed, I have a 3 year old and a wife that works but her paycheck wont even be close to enough to meet are bills. Are there any real work from home programs that work and dont cost anything to start. I am facing surgery and more than willing to work from home. I dont need to make a mint, but would like to find something to supplement are income so that we may be able to survive this ordeal. If anybody can help< we would be very grateful.

I am a 28 year old with cerebral palsy. I just got my SSI cut off and I have no way of paying my bills I have a $780.00 morgage, $201.00 electric bill, and I still need to put food on the table. My husband resently left to set up a new residence for me and my three kids but he barely makes enough to pay bills himself. If there is any way I can get some kind of assistance to help me get afloat before I lose my house, I can use all the help I can get.

HELP!!! Please!!!

I am a 38 year old man who is living with Multiple Sclerosis. I am married to a wonderful woman, who is also disabled with back issues. We have three children all with their own individual problems.

Our first child Chantal age10 is living with Type 1 Diabetes, ADD, and Learning Disabilities.

Our second child Joshua age 7 is a very bright boy. He has a form of autism known as Aspergers Syndrome, Anxiety Disorder, and Sensory Integration Disorder.

Our third child Haley age 6, has had a rough first few years of her life. She has had to undergo a few surgeries in order to understand why she wasn’t eating at first and why her liver wasn’t working well.

She was considered “failure to thrive” among a few other issues.

We recently had sold our house in New Hampshire due to financial and medical needs so we had moved to Arizona because I  had needed the climate change for my health. Upon arriving in Arizona, we found out that we had been the victims of false advertising on the internet, when the property we saw online turned out to be a “dump”, which was not what the website had shown.

So after driving for four days to get there and wasting three-thousand dollars we had saved to get there, we found ourselves having to borrow money from my sister in law to get ourselves and our belongings to Tennessee, where she lived.

We are a family that is struggling just to stay afloat. My wife Melissa, has to work just so that our children can get the medications that require and to cover the co-pays for every appointment.

My wife has endured so much in her lifetime and I wish she would just get a break in life so she may relax and have time to be pampered. She has had to endure such a rough childhood of abuse from her parents, growing up in foster homes and group home settings. The pain and grief she has had by losing both her parents at such a young age has been very rough on her. She has never let this get in the way when everyone else including me has needed her full devoted attention.

At the same time she lost her mother and had to be the sole provider for the kids and I she put herself through college to become a Medical Assistant.

I had a career as a flooring installer, where I was quite able to support us all, but now that my MS. Has progressed I am not able to do anything but just watch this all happen and wonder why me?

I am not the type of person to need help, but now, I find myself at the point where I must ask any willing and compassionate person to help us out. So I ask you to consider helping out in any way possible.

I am even stuck typing this on an old gateway computer running windows 98!

Thank you for reading this.

Also, after typing this, Joshua’s only best friend, his television died.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A FRAUDULENT MESSAGE, AS WE ARE ONLY A YOUNG FAMILY WHO IS TRULY IN NEED. YOU CAN CHECK US OUT IF NEED BE.
